Happy Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day began in the Taylor house with Scott gently waking me with coffee, a cheese danish, and a diamond tennis bracelet while the children happily played in the background, having already gotten themselves ready for school, bags and lunches prepared.

Um, NOT.  Let's try this again.

Valentine's Day began in the Taylor house with everyone scrambling for their (wait for it!) Harry Potter Valentines and me frantically packing the heart plates, cups and napkins for Davis's school party.  And my camera, since I am the official (read:  parent who is not actually employed) photographer for his class.  Katie was off on time, lugging the giant Valentine's box decorated with hearts, flowers, and pictures of Hermione.

I decided that I would send my family hand-written Valentines, complete with pictures of the kids.  With my history of holiday kid-pics, you would think I would know better.  I don't.  Since the pictures captured all the love and magic of the holiday, I had to share them with the "Acts of Davis" family, also.  I appreciate you guys so much and still can't believe that people other than my mom (Hi, Mom!) get a kick out of our wacky little family.  Enjoy, and Happy Valentine's Day from the bottom of my heart.

"OK, Kids, smile for the camera and look normal."

In my defense, they ARE wearing themed shirts.  Davis's reads "Heart Breaker".

"Honey, don't claw your brother's eyes out.  It's Valentine's Day."
